PURELL Cottony Soft Sanitizing Wipes are premoistened hand wipes with 62 percent ethyl alcohol to help reduce the number of germs on hands and remove light soils; and they are textured and thicker than PURELL's regular sanitizing hand wipes, and individually wrapped in tear-open packets for portability and to retain moisture. These wipes contain vitamin E and A, aloe, and moisturizers to help keep skin hydrated. The sanitizing wipes come in a branded cardboard display box to help users find them and to encourage use among employees or visitors at a location where germs are likely to be found, such as schools or office buildings.Hand sanitizers (also called hand antiseptics) are liquids, gels, or foams that help reduce the number of germs on hands when a small amount is rubbed into the skin; no rinsing with water or drying with towels is needed. In situations when soap and water are not available, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends use of an alcohol-based hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol.
